My ceramic forms are inspired by the facades I watched crumble as I grew into  adulthood. Working with clay has allowed me to express my sense of self through human-like sculptures that represent the internal duality and friction that came with growing up too quickly. Through figurative sculpture and installations I build a safe space to grieve the past while giving reasons to smile, laugh, and see a bit of the bright side.
